Welcome to LayersLink. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website, services, and products. By using our services, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LayersLink services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or of legal age in your jurisdiction) and that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use our services.

2. Description of Services

LayersLink provides digital agency services including but not limited to:

  • Web design and development
  • Custom software and mobile app development
  • Hosting infrastructure and server management
  • Cybersecurity and server hardening
  • SEO, content writing, and digital marketing

3. Service Agreement

Each project or recurring service is subject to a separate written agreement that specifies:

  • Scope of work and deliverables
  • Timeline and milestones
  • Payment terms and amounts
  • Revision policy and acceptance criteria
  • Intellectual property ownership

The specific terms of your service agreement take precedence over any conflicting general terms.

4. Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • Project work requires a deposit upfront (typically 50%) before commencement
  • Final payment is due upon delivery and acceptance
  • Recurring services (hosting, retainers) are billed monthly or annually
  • Late payments may incur fees and may result in suspension of services

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when contacting us or signing agreements
  • Use our services only for lawful purposes
  • Respect intellectual property rights of LayersLink and third parties
  • Maintain confidentiality of any login credentials we provide
  • Comply with all applicable laws in Egypt and your jurisdiction
Important: Service Termination for Abuse

LayersLink reserves the unrestricted right to immediately suspend or terminate any service, account, or contract, without prior notice and without refund, if we determine, in our sole discretion, that any of our services, software, infrastructure, or platforms are being used for:

  • Illegal, fraudulent, or unlawful activities of any kind
  • Distribution of malware, viruses, phishing, or other harmful content
  • Harassment, hate speech, or content that incites violence
  • Copyright infringement or intellectual property violations
  • Spam, unsolicited bulk email, or any abuse of communication channels
  • Attacks on third-party systems (DDoS, hacking attempts, scanning)
  • Any use that violates Egyptian law or international regulations
  • Any conduct that damages the reputation of LayersLink or our other clients

In such cases, we may also report the activity to the relevant legal authorities and cooperate fully with any investigations. Any data, code, or assets associated with the terminated service may be retained as evidence or deleted at our discretion.

6. Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, you receive ownership of the final deliverables specifically created for your project. LayersLink retains:

  • Rights to any pre-existing code, libraries, or frameworks we own
  • The right to display work in our portfolio (unless an NDA is in place)
  • Ownership of any general methodologies, techniques, or know-how

Third-party assets (fonts, stock images, plugins) are licensed under their respective terms.

7. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public business information shared during our engagement. We will sign formal NDAs upon request.

8. Warranties and Limitation of Liability

Our services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind beyond what is explicitly stated in your service agreement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, LayersLink's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service in dispute during the previous 12 months.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold LayersLink harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of our services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Refund Policy

Refunds are governed by your specific service agreement. Generally:

  • Hosting and recurring services: prorated refunds for unused time may be available within 30 days of billing
  • Project deposits: typically non-refundable once work has commenced
  • Services terminated for abuse (Section 5): no refunds will be issued

11. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of war or terrorism, governmental actions, internet or power outages, or pandemics.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Giza, Egypt, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects when changes occurred. Significant changes will be communicated via email or a prominent site notice. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
